Do I have to have any dance experience to attend a class or workshop?

Workshops are suitable for absolute beginners through to the seasoned performer. I believe dance is for everyone from all walks of life, so I ensure my workshops and classes suit all abilities.

I make sure there are always low-intensity options for more advanced moves, and if someone expresses they wish to be challenged, I have enough tips and tricks up my sleeve to keep them satisfied!

Do I need to be a certain age or have a certain level of fitness to participate?

All levels of fitness are encouraged. The beauty about classes is that it is exercise in disguise, so if you’re looking for a fun way to move your body, classes and workshops are perfect.

If you have an injury, are pregnant or have a pre-existing health condition, please let me know.

Ideally burlesque is for ages 18+ however with written permission from a parent or guardian, I can accept as young as 16 years of age at my discretion.

What do I need to wear or bring along with me?

Always bring a water bottle to classes and workshops to keep hydrated. In terms of what you wear- that is completely up to you! If you prefer activewear (leggings, bike shorts, singlet or t-shirt) then that is perfect. If you are wanting to dress up in costume or lingerie then I am so here for it! As long as you are comfortable, can move easily and are feeling your true self, then I say wear whatever you like!

The same goes with shoes. If you’re comfortable wearing heels then that’s fantastic, but if bare feet is more your style that is ok too.

If we are hosting a workshop for a hens party, are you able to set up inside a holiday home or air bnb? How much space do you need?

Definitely! Most of the birthdays, hens parties, girls weekends and parties I am booked for are at Airbnb or holiday homes.

I am happy to come over a bit early to have a look at your space and move furniture to make room for fun.

Alternatively if you would like me to book a hall or space on your behalf, I can do this too.

Do we need to provide costumes or accessories for a hens workshop?

I can provide all costumes and props; feather fans, gloves, chairs, feather head pieces, sequin dresses, robes etc. My wardrobe and costume boxes are continuously growing.
